An extraordinary castle both from a historical perspective but also from its extraordinary transformation by the new owners. It has a unique mix of traditional and new, luxurious comfort within an incredible environment, walking distance from the Allier river and in the midst of the most authentic, natural and beautiful surroundings. Meauce is an exceptional place to escape as a family or a group of friends to truly experience the real French castle countryside life with warm hospitality, in a comfortable setting that relaxes you while allowing you to travel into the past glory of this 11th century round and extremely graceful castle. It’s our favorite place in France !!

Small castle in the middle of nature. Ideal bird watching site. A very pretty setting.
A magnificent guided tour by a team of enthusiasts, as part of heritage days. This castle with its astonishing shape is the subject of patient restoration work that has already been successfully completed, which inspires respect. Added to this is a very friendly welcome. In short, everything is going well in Meauce!
